I got my butt out of bed at 4:50am today to go for a hard and fast 2 mile run. Here is the conversation I had about 1.5 miles in....
Mind: Alright, now do a hard sprint to that street sign, then I will let you easy jog the rest of the way home.

Awhile ago I promised to do a "looking back" entry about my weight loss journey. Today is the perfect day because at weigh-in tonight I should become a lifetime member of Weight Watchers (6 weeks on maintenance!).

Thanks to PLACKER on the Weight Watcher's 20-Something Board for this quote. I think this sums up the attitude you need to have in order to complete a weight loss journey and maintain that loss longterm. This is why fad and trick diets (like Atkins) don't work. And I know I can't go...

Maybe its because I did not ring the New Year in with style. Maybe its because the holidays were stressful. Or maybe its just because I have been at it for 8 months now, but I am seriously lacking in the motivation department lately.
I know everyone on a weight loss journey feels like this at one point or another. I want to scream "I just want to be done already!" at the top of my lungs. Other than earning a coll...
