My Progress

On March 26th, 2009 I realized my weight loss goal when I weighed-in at my weekly Weight Watchers meeting at 134.2 lbs. My goal had been 135 lbs. I lost a total of 82.4 lbs over 44 weeks. If you scroll down, I have kept my weight loss and goal charts on this page if you are interested in that journey.

Since hitting goal, I will now be in the maintenance phase. I truly believe dedicated tracking of my food, exercise, and progress was the key to my weight loss success. Thus, I think dedicated tracking will be the key to keeping the weight off. Directly below is a table describing how I am doing in this endeavor.

Race Chart

First, I started walking outside. Then I started jogging on my elliptical. Then a friend talked me into doing a 5k, and I didn't want to die of embarrassment, so I started training in earnest. Now I am addicted to running, and these are the races I plan on doing over the next year. My ultimate goal is to run (NO walking) a half-marathon.
